The
UK Socrates-Erasmus Council (UKSEC) is the National Agency for the Erasmus
Programme in the UK. UKSEC is responsible for managing the distribution
of grants to UK higher education institutions.
Socrates is the EU education programme. It supports European
co-operation on a range of educational projects, initiatives and professional
development, providing opportunities for all sectors, including schools,
higher education and lifelong learning.
