This Luminescence Spectrophotometer provides modes for fluorescence, phosphorescence and luminescence measurements. Luminescence spectrophotometery can be used for a wide variety of applications including biochemical and pharmaceutical research, food and agriculture.

However the instrument at the ERI is used in environmental studies e.g. assessing the character of dissolved organic matter in natural water samples.
