This
experiment will show you that your eyes can be deceived.
Introduction:
In
each of the following two drawings which has the smallest center circle?
Experiment:
If
you thought that the answer was B...... you would be wrong. In fact, both circle
are exactly the same size. Check with a ruler.
Are
there spirals or circles?
Once
again it is an optical illusion which enables you to see a spiral which is not
really there.

Figure

There
is no difference, check the size with a ruler.
Which
is the biggest white rectangle in figure1? Which is the biggest black rectangle
in figure2?
The
line is the same but by placing the arrows at the end of the lines, it gives
the appearance of a longer line on a bottom.
Which
is the longest line?
Once
again, it appears that the lines are curving or sloping but are in fact parallel
causing an optical illusion.
In
the following three diagrams are the horizontal lines parallel ?
Yet
again, your eyes can be deceived giving you the illusion of a moving object.
Look closely at the center of the drawing. Does it turn?
