These are exciting times for ERI and its partners. We are approaching a decade of dedication to excellence in research, academic, and commercial activity. We welcome innovation, optimism, aspiration and ambition. After all, these are the qualities which have seen our own particular star rise so quickly.

We are deeply involved in research across the world and we are utterly committed to progressive development and shaping ERI into a vibrant and dynamic centre of research expertise. We are doing that in partnership with the private sector, the public sector, and academic institutions.

To continue moving forward we will further strengthen our local, national and international connections. We will continuously apply the standard of excellence and seek solutions to environmental issues, however challenging they may be.

To be successful in these goals we need people who have the same commitment and the desire to work at an institute where there is so much opportunity.

So here is our invitation to you – whether you are a student, a business, or a research scientist with a passion for the natural environment, we believe ERI has much to offer you. Current European knowledge transfer Projects that the ERI is involved in -

• RASLRES – is a Northern Periphery Programme (NPP) project involving partners in Ireland, Sweden, Northern Ireland, Finland and the Faroe Islands.
• OREC-CA – is a Framework 7 (FP7) project with partners in 11 countries.
• CoastAdapt – joint project with partners in Norway, Ireland, Iceland and Northern Ireland under the Northern Periphery Programme
• ClimATIC – also a Northern Periphery Programme (NPP) project involving partners in the Western Isles, Sweden, Greenland, Norway and Finland
